DESCRIPTION:NGO KITAP cordially invites you to the Festival of Turkic Culture! \nTurkics are not only Turks\, they are also Tatars\, Kazakhs\, Kyrgyz\, Uzbeks\, Azerbaijanis and others. \nCome on Friday (September 24\, 2021) from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm to participate the screening of a short video and interactive lecture about what holidays are celebrated by Turkic people and why. After that will follow the Tea-time. Where? Belgicka 11\, Prague 2\, Amiga door \nREGISTRATION IS NEEDED!\nhttps://forms.gle/74wowpnLSbmrKNYA8 \n\n\nBut it is not the only event! \nCome next day\, on Saturday\, September\, 25 to the Municipal Library in Prague to taste\, experience and learn more about their culture. Not only beautiful performances and presentations of traditional delicacies await you\, but also workshops for adults and children. The program includes musical and dance performances by representatives of the Turkic nations\, including demonstrations of Turkish\, Tatar\, Crimean-Tatar\, Kazakh\, Azerbaijani culture and\, last but not least\, Sakha culture and more. \nFun workshops: Azerbaijani dance workshop\, backgammon game\, workshops for children “Make the Tatar hat”\, “Know the origin of the word”. \nFree entrance to the event! \nThe event is supported by the city of Prague. \n\nThe Festival of Turkic culture will last 3 days.\nExpected program of the whole event:\n– Friday (September 24\, 2021) from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm: screening of a short video and interactive lecture about what holidays are celebrated by Turkic people and why. Tea-time. (Belgicka 11\, Prague 2\, Amiga door)\n– Saturday (25.09.2021) from 4pm to 6pm: Concert – Festival of Turkic cultures\, music and dance performances. The festival includes fun workshops.
